My landscapes paintings are greatly influenced by my passion for hiking and walking across the UK.  This piece was inspired by the drama of the Lake District in Cumbria.  There is a timeless quality about connecting with the majesty of the  landscape whatever the season.  Every time is a fresh experience visually with the constantly changing weather and light, always variable and challenging.
