ORDERING, PAYMENTS ,SHIPPING & RETURNS

My aim is to ensure that you are happy with your purchase. If you have any questions please contact me in advance at info@philippaheadley.com.

Every care has been taken to show the artwork as accurately as possible with regard to size and colour. The image you see online may show a difference due to slight variation between browsers, devices and screen settings. Any variation between the image represented and the actual artwork is not deemed a fault and slight inconsistencies will not be a valid reason for return.

Ordering & Payments

How is my payment handled?
Payments are taken through PayPal British Pounds Sterling. You do not need to have a PayPal account to purchase; you can use the PayPal service to pay with your regular debit or credit card. We do not store any of your debit/credit card details. You can also pay using credit /debit cards as listed at the checkout.

Purchasing with a deposit.
If you would like to purchase an original painting over £500 you are welcome to purchase in stages. As the value of my work grows I understand this can be a helpful option. A 50% deposit is payable to hold your painting . The balance can be paid the following month or in 2 monthly payments of 25% each. Please contact me directly (info@philippaheadley.com) if you are interested in arranging this.

This is not a credit scheme, but an arrangement on trust, at no extra cost to you. Usual shipping costs and return policy will apply.

Paying by bank transfer

If you would like to pay by bank transfer please email me (info@philippaheadley.com) stating that you wish to pay by Bank Transfer and I will raise an invoice with the required bank details for you to make the payment. Please pay immediately as I will mark the artwork as sold on receipt of your email and then start the shipping process once the funds have been cleared.

Shipping

I have placed my order, how soon will I receive my painting?
Original paintings will generally be packed and shipped within 5 business days. Within the UK pieces are sent by Royal Mail, Parcel Force or courier depending on size and weight.  Most UK deliveries arrive within 2 days from time of shipping. Please allow 7 business days in total. NB IF you are resident in Northern Ireland please contact me directly so that I can discuss shipping options owing to the ongoing Brexit issues.

If you need delivery by a specific date, please contact me first to make sure it can reach you in time. There may be an extra charge for rush deliveries according to your requirements.

I have placed my order, how soon will I receive my print?
All prints are made to order and orders are sent once a week to the printer, then to be signed and sent to you. Within the UK pieces are sent by Royal Mail, Parcel Force or courier depending on size and weight.  Most UK deliveries arrive within 2 days from time of shipping. Please allow 10 working days in total.

Can I collect my artwork from your studio?
Yes, Please email me so that we can discuss logistics.

Is Shipping included?
Yes, ( ONLY for the UK )  most artwork has an estimated shipping cost included at checkout based on the size of the work and your location. Generally there is a flat rate (e.g. £25-£50 dependent upon order) and free shipping for orders over £500.


Note: At the current time shipping costs are varying significantly due to Covid-19 restrictions, especially on air freight. If the actual cost of shipping is significantly more than quoted I reserve the right to discuss this with you and to refuse the sale.

What about large or high value artworks?
I appreciate this is a high value purchase – and a piece of work I have have spent much time on! It’s important for both of us to make sure it is transported safely. Some couriers have limits on dimensions or what they will carry so certain pieces have individual requirements. This will be noted in the Shipping details with each product listing. Shipping costs for large artworks need to be quoted individually – please contact me before purchasing. I will then contact you via email to discuss specialist shipping options before the artwork is despatched. If you buy online first in order to secure the painting the shipping cost will be billed separately after agreement.

Can you ship internationally?
Yes, I can ship to most countries, although it will take longer to arrive depending on your location. If your location is restricted once you get to the checkout you need a bespoke courier service. Email  me (info@philippaheadley.com )with your details and the piece you would like and I can give you shipping options.

Overseas shipments (outside the UK) may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country. Any additional charges are at the customer’s expense. We have no control over these charges and accept no responsibility for additional charges.

Shipping costs contribute towards packing supplies, labour and transit fees.

Impact of Brexit
The current situation is rather unclear as to what extra charges will be made for EU customers. As there will inevitably be unexpected charges made for VAT, customs charges or extra handling please contact me first.

 

If there is something you have seen and love and are OK with the possible fees charged at customs do please email me.

 

Returns

What if my painting arrives and I don’t like it?

I want you to be fully happy with your new artwork so I offer a Buy-Back agreement.

If an original painting is not as you expect, you have 14 days to contact me by email and request a refund. Once a return has been agreed, you are responsible for packing and arranging return delivery using the same service it was sent to you. Once the piece has been safely returned I will refund your payment within 14 days.

Do you give a refund on prints if I change my mind?
All prints are custom made to the size you request. I don’t hold stock – each print is made for you. Please check the size is as you wish before you place the order.

 

What if my painting arrives damaged?
All work is carefully packed and wrapped. If you receive a work that has been damaged in transit, please contact me within 7 days with a photograph.

 

What about Overseas Returns?
At this time I am unable to offer a refund or return on any product(s) sent outside of the UK.
